Painting Demonstration for
the Akron Art Museum Sunday Sampler, September 5th
Lynda will be demostrating abstract and landscape watercolor
on the 3rd floor of Summit ArtSpace, 105 East Market Street,
Akron, as a part of the Akron Society of Artists and Artists
of Rubber City Open Studio Reception during the Akron Art Museum's
Sunday Sampler event. The Studio is just two blocks east of
the Museum.

Heart and Vascular Center Lobby
From May - July, Lynda has lent nineteen paintings to grace this beautiful lobby
space. Visiting is encouraged. Hours are 9-5:00 on weekdays. Park in the Outpatient
deck,
NOT
the
main
visitor's
deck.
First
10
minutes
parking is free, or pay $1 for the first half hour.
The Heart and Vascular Center lobby is located at 300 Wabash Ave.
Make a right turn off Cedar. The Outpatient
Services deck will be on left. Lobby

are
across
the
street in
the main
building.

"Glory Tree" is given to the
Princess of Thailand

In May, Patrick Rimke, Director of Wheels
of Hope and principal volunteers of the Thai
wheelchair distribution program, met with Princess
Sirindhorn at the Royal
Palace in Bangkok. Presentation of a gift is a vital
part of this Thai ceremony, in appreciation of royal
support. The
gift was well received, and reflects the gratitude
of Wheels of Hope, USA, for the priviledge of working
with the Thai people
to help persons with disabilities in Thailand.

November 1-13, 2008 solo show at the new City|Art on Front Street, located
at 2091 Front Street Mall, on the south end next to the pavilion.
ASA Signature status awarded
"In recognition of your outstanding artwork, the
membership committee has selected you to beome a signature member in
the Akron Society of Artists. I hope
you can attend the critique this Wednesday, April 30th. The new signature members
will be announced at the beginning of the meeting."
