A native of Akron, Ohio, USA; I pursued a BA in Studio Art and a Master's in Educational Media. I "gave up" fine art to pursue a family and freelance graphic and web site design ... but not really. Art has always been my life: gardening is painting with plants; church banners with fabric. I took up my brushes again in 2004. As the digital design world grows more and more complicated, I long for the simplicity of paper and canvas.
